A good resource on the maths stuff. It offers examples, source code and tutorials in a single volume.

Foley, van Dam, Feiner and Hughes
Considered by many as THE computer graphics book. It is an excellent book
which provides a broad overview of the area. It is not a book with recipes, though.
Since it covers a huge array of topics the disscussion is somewhat light
but pointers to further information are always provided.
